The first day of “Together for Egypt” conference, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Medbouli, concluded with “Rasalat Salam” (Peace message) band concert led by Dr. Entisar Abdel Fattah, the band includes singers and musicians from all over the world who participated together in singing Christian songs and prophetic praises.
To emphasize the ability of art to spread messages of peace and love for the whole world.
The sessions of the day, which was inaugurated by Prof. Khaled Abd Al-Ghafar Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, began with a moment of silence for the martyrs of the country, and was attended by Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy, Minister of Local Development and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Eng. Atef Abdel Hamid, Governor of Cairo and Prof. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Tarek Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Rapporteur of the conference HG Anba Ermia, General Bishop, head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and secretary of the Egyptian family home, a number of senior state officials, former ministers, public figures, university presidents, clerics, intellectuals, art and culture figures.
The third and final session of the first day was entitled “We are all one.. religion for God and country for all” and was moderated by His Grace Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center. The session was attended by Governor Atef Abdel Hamid, Governor of Cairo, Dr. Ahmed Abu Zeid, coordinator of the Egyptian Family House, and Father Rafiq Jerish, Rapporteur of the Information Committee of the Egyptian Family House.
At the end of each session, there was a open discussion between youth and the guests , and the conference’s shield was presented to guests participating in the three sessions.
