His Grace Bishop Emia, General Bishop, participated with a large number of intellectuals, artists, public, sports and media figures at “All of us with you for Egypt” campaign to support President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to run for a second presidency term on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Marriott Mirage Hotel in Cairo.
HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center delivered a speech at the seminar.
His Grace began his speech by asking the audience for a moment of silence to pay tribute to martyr Samaan Shehata.
HG Anba Ermia stressed during his speech at the “All of us with you for Egypt” campaign, that everyone should work together as one hand to move away from the bottleneck, and attempts to break the stability of the country and rebuild the country under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. Pointing out at the necessity to enlight the thoughts that was polluted with hatred and blood to restore stability to this country and continue the march.
He explained that it is necessary to take into account the wound in the hearts of children who are suffering from recent incidents.
He said that the children of Egypt are wounded by last years attacks that the country are suffering from till today, as it is a result of hatred, aversion and antipathy, which was evident in the targeting of the priest last Thursday, who was killed in cold blood and did not commit any sin towards anyone.
The seminar was organized in the belief that President Al Sisi should run for a second presidency term and to demand him to run for the next presidential elections, after having achieved great successes during his first term in various fields including industry, trade, foreign relations and terrorism .. where the campaign aims to support and stability of Egypt.
