HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and President of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, presided over the funeral service of Deacon Prof. Eng. Fakhry Sadek Gerges, Professor of Coptic Language at the Institute of Coptic Studies, member of the Board of the Institute and the father of Mrs. Magda, Mirvat and Michel, and uncle of engineer George Farid at the Church of Saints Guargius and Anba Antonius in Heliopolis, on Sunday January 7, 2018 at 1 pm.
The funeral was held in the presence and participation of the priests of the Church and Fr. Tiothawes Ava Mina representing himself and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, Abbot of the Monastery of St. Mina and the solace will be held on Sunday evening January 7, 2018 at 6 pm at the funeral hall of the Church of Saints Guargius and Anba Antonius in Heliopolis.
May his soul rest in peace and condolences of heaven to all his loved ones and his family.
