Our Vision:
The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center has been established in order to create a dynamic accessible space where our unique heritage is preserved, where our history and culture are studied and from which knowledge about them is disseminated. It aims to provide a setting where scholars, researchers both here and abroad, lay people, young and old, are encouraged to pursue knowledge about the various aspects of Coptic faith, history, language, literature, music, archeology, art, and architecture. This will incite the new generations to realize the importance of our heritage which started with the epoch-making advent of St. Mark.
Our Mission:
The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center aims to bring together the diverse fundamentals of our rich Coptic heritage in celebration and preservation of our past and in anticipation of our future. The Center’s goal is to collect, preserve and restore our unique and valuable manuscripts and artifacts, to create a rich learning environment, and to offer new experiences to people of all ages and from all walks of life to develop and cherish a sense of cultural identity and awareness underpinned by our faith.
