Al Gomhoriya Newspaper was among the first daily newspaper in which His Holiness Pope Shenouda III wrote a weekly article after becoming a Patriarch of the Papal See on November 14th<\/sup>, 1971. In the beginning phase, he wrote 32 articles, starting on 28th<\/sup> of November 1971, with an article titled \u201cBetween Silence and Talk\u201d, ending on 9th<\/sup> of July 1972 with an article titled \u201cThe Journey of the News to your Ears\u201d.<\/span><\/h2>\n

These articles were collected and published before in 1985. His Holiness resumed writing for Al Gomhoriya Newspaper since 9th<\/sup> of June 2002 till 7th<\/sup> of December 2004, allocating 124 articles for it, which subjects varied between spiritual, religious and social issues including serious and hilarious situations. His Holiness wrote about proverbs, the wonders of human\u2019s nature, fear\u2026 its causes, types and treatment, lying, the devil, the benefits of forgetfulness, cheerfulness, the life time mistake, wisdom, prayer and other subjects. We republish these articles written beforehand in Al Gomhoriya Newspaper, pleading for the Lord to use them for the benefit of all Egyptians who read them, as they loved Pope Shenouda and were loved by him.<\/span><\/h2>\n
