Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St.Mark Episcopate. The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center headed by His Grace Bishop Jeremiah with the participation of Mr. “Paolo Sabbatini” head of the Italian cultural institute in Cairo and Italian embassy cultural counselor organize an exhibition \u00a0for the international Italian artist “Maurizio Meldolesi” in the period from \u00a0February 8 to February 22, 2 016.<\/span><\/h2>\n
The\u00a0exhibition opening began with HG Bishop Jeremiah Speech.\u00a0He condoled\u00a0the Italian government, people and family of Italian ideal student “Julio Reginni” who\u00a0was killed\u00a0in Egypt\u00a0a few days ago. Than HG Bishop Jeremiah welcomed Mr. “Paolo Sabbatini”\u00a0head of the Italian cultural institute \u00a0in Cairo and Italian embassy cultural counselor and Dr. Nadia Zachary former \u00a0Scientific Research minister who\u00a0was keen to attend the exhibition opening. His Grace also expressed his happiness that the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center hosts artist “Maurizio Meldolesi” exhibition who is one of the best\u00a0fine art artists pointing that the COCC is concerned\u00a0\u00a0with\u00a0various types of arts and cultures.<\/span><\/h2>\n
HG Bishop Jeremiah\u00a0recounted Artist\u00a0“Maurizio Meldolesi”\u00a0Portfolio that consist of religious portraits and other portraits\u00a0that had impressed People\u00a0from different cultures.<\/span><\/h2>\n
From his side\u00a0Mr. “Paolo Sabbatini”\u00a0head of the Italian cultural institute \u00a0in Cairo and Italian embassy cultural counselor\u00a0thanked\u00a0HG Bishop Jeremiah for hosting \u00a0this exhibition and noted that this exhibition is the beginning of cooperation between the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo.<\/span><\/h2>\n
Than\u00a0Artist “Maurizio Meldolesi” expressed his gratitude to HG Bishop\u00a0Jeremiah for this great reception and for the huge number of attendee stressing that this is the first time that he meet this huge number of attendee\u00a0in one of his exhibitions that are\u00a0held\u00a0around the world stressing that this indicates\u00a0Egyptian people\u00a0enlightenment.<\/span><\/h2>\n
At the end of his speech\u00a0“Maurizio Meldolesi”\u00a0surprised the audience by saying that there is one of his\u00a0portrait\u00a0 behind this curtain. And that he\u00a0hope to have the honor to meet the one he\u00a0draw in this portrait, than\u00a0he\u00a0unveiled the portrait and the surprise was that it was a portrait of HH\u00a0Pope \u00a0Tawadros II.<\/span><\/h2>\n
HG Bi<\/span>shop Jeremiah revealed that artist “Maurizio Meldolesi” draw this\u00a0portrait\u00a0perfectly without seeing HH Pope Tawadros II.<\/span><\/h2>\n
At the end of the exhibition opening HG Bishop Jeremiah granted\u00a0Mr. “Paolo Sabbatini”\u00a0head of the Italian cultural institute \u00a0in Cairo and Italian embassy cultural counselor and\u00a0Artist\u00a0“Maurizio Meldolesi” COCC Shield.<\/span><\/h2>\n
