The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center Celebrated the \u00a0promotion of\u00a0His Eminence Bishop Benjamin to Metropolitan\u00a0of Mnofia by\u00a0His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.<\/span>
\nThe ceremony was attended by His Eminence Bishop Bishoy of Damietta, Kafr El-Sheikh\u00a0and\u00a0head of St. Demiana monastery of El-Barrari,\u00a0HG Bishop Ermia general bishop and\u00a0head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi Director of Hope\u00a0Centers.<\/span>
\nThe ceremony began with Bishop Ermia\u00a0speech stating: that since the selection of Pope Shenouda III\u00a0to Bishop Benjamin metropolitan\u00a0of Mnofia he was, an\u00a0example in \u00a0care, Bishop Ermiae pointed\u00a0that Bishop Benjamin\u00a0is a master who stick\u00a0to proper\u00a0orthodox faith. In his\u00a0episodes at\u00a0MarMarkos sat\u00a0he offers accurate theologically and liturgically and bible\u00a0education . And presented to His Eminence a Care stick as a gift in the name of the cultural center and ME Sat\u00a0channel.<\/span>
\nThen Dr. Ashraf explained that his relationship with Bishop Benjamin\u00a0began five years ago, and that His Eminence encouraged to work with the Hope\u00a0centers, , and his effort reached for up to three conferences a year, we started with four Hope center\u00a0and\u00a0with his effort they are \u00a0now 81 centers in the evangelism, and spoke of his wisdom, and presented to His Eminence a Gift.<\/span>
\nThen pastor Sarabamoun son of hope\u00a0centers in Helwan delivered a poem about\u00a0His Eminence.<\/span>
\nThen spoke afterwards Bishop Bishoy, and said that\u00a0Bishop Benjamin opened a\u00a0seminary college branch in shebin El-Kanater, and called Bishop Bishoy to teach the subjects of Theoretical and dogmatic theology, Bishop Bishoy explained that this\u00a0was the cause of teaching then at 15 seminary in Egypt and abroad, he said that when he was assigned by Pope Shenouda III for\u00a0any errand in\u00a0US\u00a0or Germany he\u00a0asked that\u00a0 Bishop Benjamin come with him, for example,we oversaw Germany churches and monasteries for eight years,\u00a0<\/span>For Hope centers it\u00a0was the cause of saving many\u00a0lives\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>He thanked Bishop Ermia for\u00a0holding this meeting.<\/span>
\nMetropolitan Bishoy\u00a0stressed that the rank was honored by\u00a0the promotion of Bishop\u00a0Benjamin to the Metropolitan rank by\u00a0His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.<\/span>
\nAt the end of his speech Metropolitan Bishoy gave a\u00a0picture\u00a0of the Virgin Mary to\u00a0Bishop Benjamin, because he love\u00a0it\u00a0so much.<\/span>
\nThen the choir presented many spiritual hymns.<\/span>
\nIn the end it was Metropolitan\u00a0Benjamin of Monoufia speech as he thanked\u00a0Bishop Ermia \u00a0on this ceremony and for the valuable gifts, and thanked everyone.<\/span><\/h2>\n
