It is said: \u201cA picture may convey thousand of words\u201d. Between your hands, dear reader and viewer, a rich journey in pictures and words, in which the blessed Eng. Emad Nasri, takes us to see the collection of unforgettable moments in the life of the great among Patriarchs, the Triple Beatified His Holiness Pope Shenouda III to be presented in the first anniversary of his departure \u2013 March 2013.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Actually, the life of Pope Shenouda is but \u201cunforgettable days\u201d, this was selected as a title by his photographer in order to record, with his lens, such distinct moments of an abundant life, attaching quotes from Pope Shenouda\u2019s sermons and lectures in several occasions. Such quotes are of short words, yet deep meanings and contemplations.<\/span><\/h2>\n

It is a good effort and a brilliant work\u2026 I thank him for it, may our Holy Christ bless all who read it and keep this beautiful record for generations, may His grace embrace all of us.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We pass through days live in them, perhaps they are engraved in the memory of history and became solid rocks against the time sea. Perhaps they are forgotten as being written on sandy beaches, however, in our lives, there are unforgettable days.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We introduce \u201cUnforgettable Days\u201d in the life of the Triple Beatified His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, accompanied with unforgettable words over the course of days. This book bears the memories and sayings of His Holiness that have long lit the path of hope in the hearts of many.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We introduce the first part of the book to everyone; in the first anniversary of His Holiness\u2019 departure, His Holiness reviewed the pictures and words himself, when we desired to publish this book during his life, he refused saying: \u201cPublish them after my departure\u201d. The pictures in this book were taken by Eng. Emad Nasri throughout more than 25 years.<\/span><\/h2>\n

We plead for the Lord to make this book a reason of blessing to everyone, and to bless all who toiled in its preparation and introduction in this magnificent form, through the intercessions of Theotokos St. Virgin Mary and St. Mark the Apostle, the Preacher of Egyptian homes, and through the prayers of our deceased father His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, and our father His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, the Patriarch of Alexandria and See of St. Mark, may God keep his life for long years and peaceful times.<\/span><\/h2>\n
