\u201cBlood and Fire\u201d is a series of articles written by the Triple Beatified His Holiness Pope Shenouda III; in which His Holiness presents to us the story of Salvation and Redemption in the Holy Bible through the sacrifice since Adam and Eve, highlighting the development of the sacrifice\u2019s notion, to the sacrifice of Lord Christ.<\/span><\/h2>\n

His Holiness the Pope introduces the relation between blood and fire, the link of the people to the sacrifice\u2019s blood and fire in the Old Testament, then His Holiness tackled the types of sacrifices.<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the journey of the Holy Lent and the way to the Cross, the Redemption and the Salvation of the mankind, we introduce these articles that were published in Watany Newspaper in April, May and June of 2006, hoping them to be a reason of blessing to all who read them, through the prayers of St. Virgin Mary, the Theotokos , St. Mark the Apostle, the Preacher of Egyptian homes, the late Pope Shenouda III, and through the prayers of His Holiness Great Pope Tawadros II, may God keep his life.<\/span><\/h2>\n
