Basilios Sobhi Vice Dean of the seminary college in Cairo delivered the first lecture that\u00a0revolved around the Coptic language and heritage of literature, where he stressed on\u00a0a number of points including\u00a0the role of the Church in generalizing the use of Coptic writing; translation of the Bible to the Coptic language; the weakness of the Coptic language and the factors behind\u00a0it; definition of the Coptic literature, its type and time division; the characteristics of the beginnings era to\u00a0the reign of Pope Athanasius; the Golden age of Coptic literature namely the\u00a0era of St. Shenouda the Archimandrite and even after the Council of Chalcedon\u00a0and Copts in the Arab Era as he concluded the lecture by proposing ways to\u00a0advance the Coptic language and literature.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">While Anba\u00a0Thomas Bishop of El-Quseya delivered the second lecture\u00a0and\u00a0spoke\u00a0about the Egyptian Coptic identity.
