He did not met her once. He spoke to her on the phone more than once, and Amira rejected\u00a0his calls, so he threatened her through text messages, which pushed her to answer him a couple of times in an attempt to calm him and avoid trouble with him or his family.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'andale mono', times; color: #000000;\">She said that Ibrahim appeared to be a young man who was reckless. After despairing of communicating with her daughter, he began to spread rumors that she had a romantic relationship with him, and she converted from Christianity to Islam, and incited the villagers over the past weeks against\u00a0the family\u00a0and spread rumors that we detained our daughter at home once we learn about her conversion to Islam, which is not true.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'andale mono', times; color: #000000;\">His goal was stir up village simple people against them, and he\u00a0succeeded, explaining &#8220;We were surprised by thousands of people trying to break into our house and kidnap Amira, especially that\u00a0militants spread\u00a0rumors using social media to stir up inhabitants of neighboring villages, and succeeded to\u00a0incite three other villages&#8221; she said.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'andale mono', times; color: #000000;\">&#8220;My daughter is fine now, she is in Cairo, and she continues her lessons to ensure that she continues to excel in high school.
