The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center in cooperation with Pope Shenouda III Center for Church history invites you to attend the first seminar\u00a0of the Church History “the Council of Nicaea”.<\/span><\/h2>\n

It includes the following lectures:<\/span><\/h2>\n

– Creed in the thought of St. Athanasius the Apostolic – HG Anba Rafael<\/span><\/h2>\n

– Liturgy and how it maintained the faith in the fourth century – HG Anba Makari<\/span><\/h2>\n

– The trouble that followed St. Athanasius after the Council of Nicaea – HG\u00a0Anba\u00a0Angelos<\/span><\/h2>\n

– History of the Nicene Creed (faith of the church) with an explanation of its\u00a0meanings – Fr.\u00a0Bishoy Helmi<\/span><\/h2>\n

– Levels of teaching of the Council of Nicaea\u00a0for different\u00a0stages – Fr. Youssef Samir<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Seminar\u00a0begins with the Holy Mass at 7:00 am at the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, at the Cathedral of St. Mark in Anba Ruiss in Abbassia on Saturday 26 August 2017.<\/span><\/h2>\n
