His E<\/span>minence\u00a0Bishop Makarios, Bishop of Minya and Abu Qorq<\/span>as, headed on Saturday evening October 21, 2017, at\u00a0St. George Church,\u00a0the funeral service for the officer “Boutros Suleiman Masoud”, one of the martyrs of the Friday shootout\u00a0at 135 km in Western Desert.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Bishop of Minya condemned all the martyrs of the homeland, saying: “The Egyptian blood defending his homeland is all\u00a0one, treachery bullets and terrorism did not distinguish between them” calling on God to\u00a0protect\u00a0Egypt.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The funeral was preceded\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0by a\u00a0solemn military funeral lead by Colonel Mohammed Salah Nagi, head of <\/span> Abu\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Qorqas<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>Center and City\u00a0and deputy governor of Minya, Major General Essam al-Din al-Badawi, accompanied by Major General Magdi Amer Hashmdar, Minya chief of police.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

It is noteworthy that the martyr\u00a0is from Ezbat Yacoub Bibawi known as Ezbet “Altom” located west of the center of Abu Qorqas south of Minya, is his twenty.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
