The body was buried in\u00a0a tomb prepared\u00a0specially at Sts. Virgin Mary and Shenouda Church in elSalam city. His family will\u00a0hold a solace on Sunday evening at\u00a0St.\u00a0Pope Athanasius hall\u00a0in St. Mark Cathedral in Abbasia.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"andale mono\", times;\">Dr. Tharwat Basili\u00a0departed at the age of 77 on December 5 in Chicago, USA. Tharwat Thabet Bassili was born on September 14, 1940. He obtained a bachelor&#8217;s degree in pharmacy from Cairo University in 1967. He also worked in the field of medicine, , And was appointed as a member of the Shura Council for several sessions and chaired the Health Committee for 15 years.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"andale mono\", times;\">He\u00a0was also a member\u00a0of the Denominational Council of the Coptic Orthodox Church. He is one of the notables of the Coptic Church in the present era. He was very interested in serving the brethren\u00a0of the Lord,\u00a0 poor and needy people.
