HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop\u00a0and President of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, presided over the funeral service of Deacon\u00a0Prof. Eng. Fakhry Sadek Gerges,\u00a0Professor of Coptic Language at the Institute of Coptic Studies, member of the Board of the Institute and the father of Mrs. Magda, Mirvat and Michel, and uncle\u00a0of engineer George Farid\u00a0at\u00a0the Church of Saints Guargius and Anba Antonius in Heliopolis, on Sunday January 7, 2018 at 1 pm.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The funeral was held\u00a0in the presence and participation of the priests of the Church and Fr. Tiothawes Ava Mina representing himself and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, Abbot of the Monastery of\u00a0 St. Mina\u00a0and the solace\u00a0will be held on Sunday evening January 7, 2018 at 6 pm at the funeral hall of the Church of Saints Guargius and\u00a0Anba Antonius in Heliopolis.<\/span><\/h2>\n
