The 40th day commemoration Mass service of Triple Beatified Anba Fam, Bishop of Tema was held at the new cathedral in the Monastery of “Fr. Yassa Mikhael” in Umm Dumah, Tema on Tuesday morning.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The service was lead by HG Anba Lucas, Bishop of Abnoub, Al Fethah, and New Assiut, and the participation\u00a0of\u00a0 HG\u00a0Anba Bakhoum, Bishop of Sohag\u00a0and the Pope Vicar of Tema, HG Anba Youannes, Bishop of Assiut, and HG Anba Ologius, Bishop and\u00a0Abbot of the Monastery of St. Shenouda, The Archimandrite\u00a0in Sohag.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Mass\u00a0service was attended by priests, monks and deacons from different dioceses and monasteries, as well as\u00a0about 3,000 person of the diocese congregation and loved ones of late father.<\/span><\/h2>\n

HG\u00a0Aba Bakhoum delivered the sermon during which he focused on the blessed biography of Anba Fam.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The\u00a0service was attended by the deputies Maj. Gen. Salah Shawki Aqeel and a number of public figures and businessmen.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The commemoration\u00a0service\u00a0 is the first to be held at the new cathedral, which HG, late\u00a0Anba Fam,\u00a0builf at the Monastery of\u00a0Fr. Yassa, where he loved to stay. During the\u00a0last years, he sought to develop the Cathedral\u00a0which\u00a0became one of the most important Christian\u00a0places visited during religious trips.<\/span><\/h2>\n

His Grace, late Anba\u00a0Fam,\u00a0departed on February 25 at a hospital in London. Born in February 1945, he worked as an engineer before\u00a0becoming a\u00a0monk, and\u00a0was ordained as bishop in 1980.<\/span><\/h2>\n
