And the body was buried\u00a0in St. Barbara Monastery tombs in Heliopolis.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">President\u00a0Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff sent representatives to the funeral, while Eng. Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister, Eng. Hany Dahi,\u00a0Head of Engineers synod, Eng. Tarek Al Nabarawi, former\u00a0head of Engineers synod, Major General Hisham Abousna, head of Cairo Engineers synod, public figures and MPs attended the funeral.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">HG Anba Ermia thanked the President, pointing that Egypt has lost a great national stature and a\u00a0devoted son of the armed forces. Egypt has benefited from his knowledge, his\u00a0honesty and his great abilities.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">HG Anba Moussa said: &#8220;We bid farewell today to a beloved brother whom we closely knew. He was one of the keys to the victory of the 6th of October War, as well as\u00a0he was trusted\u00a0by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser and President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.\u00a0He never assigned this achievement to himself but to the Egyptian Army &#8220;Protector of Egypt&#8221;\u00bb, pointing out that he contributed to the construction of the High Dam of Aswan and the destruction the Bar Lev\u00a0line, which Israel bragged about.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">On the other hand, the House of Representatives mourned the\u00a0 hero of the 6th of October war, and the MPs\u00a0took a moment of silence\u00a0to pay tribute\u00a0for the late soldier. Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal, House of Representatives speaker, said that &#8220;Baki&#8221; was the one who came up with the idea to destroy the Israeli Bar Lev Line defenses during 1973 war using water.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">It is worth mentioning that the Coptic Church\u00a0mourned Maj. Gen.
