His Holiness Pope Tawadros II issued the papal decree No. 14 of 2018 concerning the formation of the regional councils\u00a0for personal status of the new session, which begins on 1 July 2018 and ends on 30 June 2021.<\/span><\/h2>\n

“The formation of the regional personal status councils of the Coptic Orthodox Church (2018-2021), as follows:<\/span><\/h2>\n

First: Personal Status in\u00a0US and Canada:<\/span><\/h2>\n

1-\u00a0Anba Karas, Bishop of Pennsylvania and its affiliated areas
\n2- Father Hermia Theophils
\n3- Father Tadros Al Masri
\n4-\u00a0Father Markos Ayoub
\n5-\u00a0Mr. \/ Joseph Ghabour – Lawyer <\/span><\/h2>\n

6 – Dr. Suzy Onsi Beshai – Physisian.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Second: Personal Status in Europe:<\/span><\/h2>\n

“Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the see of St. Mark”<\/span><\/h2>\n

The decision to reshape the regional councils comes within the framework of the institutional thinking pursued by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II since his inauguration, which requires the circulation of responsibility and the renewal of blood within the administrative system of the church.<\/span><\/h2>\n

His Holiness directed to make\u00a0diocese undersecretary post\u00a0for a three-year period, renewable once.<\/span><\/h2>\n

His Holiness had thanked the members of the Regional Councils for Personal Status whose term of service had expired and which had been extended for a full term (2015-2018).<\/span><\/h2>\n

This came\u00a0in Al-Kraza magazin issue of June 22 last year, where His Holiness said:<\/span><\/h2>\n

“We thank the members of the Regional Councils for Personal Status (2015-2018), under the supervision of the distinguished pontiffs, who have made great efforts in this new service: <\/span><\/h2>\n

1-\u00a0Anba Sarapion, Bishop of Los Angeles –\u00a0council of America and Canada. <\/span><\/h2>\n

2 –\u00a0Anba\u00a0Kyrillos, Bishop of Milan –\u00a0council of Europe.<\/span><\/h2>\n

3- Anba\u00a0Paula, Bishop of Tanta and its affiliated areas,\u00a0council of Asia and Australia. <\/span><\/h2>\n

4.\u00a0Anba Daniel, Bishop of Maadi and its affiliated areas, council of Cairo.
\n<\/span><\/h2>\n

5- Anba Bakhoum, Bishop of Sohag and its affiliated areas, council of Upper Egypt, Giza and Africa<\/span><\/h2>\n

6- Anba Theodosious, Bishop of centeral Giza and its affiliated areas, council of Alexandria and sea side.<\/span><\/h2>\n
