The\u00a0Seminary\u00a0college of Alexandria celebrated the opening of its renovation works on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at St. Mark’s Apostle’s College scalar, in the presence of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The celebration began\u00a0with Thanksgiving\u00a0prayer, followed by\u00a0singing church hymns by Choir\u00a0of seminary college and the churches of Alexandria, and then a group of hymns by “Life within you” choir.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u0650A\u00a0number of speeches were delivered by Bishop Elarion, General Bishop of the Churches of the Western Sector of Alexandria,\u00a0Fr. Abraham Emile, Patriarchal Vicar in Alexandria, Joseph Nabil, Head of the Patriarchal\u00a0Diwan in Alexandria and Fr. Abram\u00a0Bashnoudi, Vice-Dean of Alexandria seminary College.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Patriarchal Vicar of Alexandria gave a commemorative gift to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and His\u00a0Grace Anba \u00a0Daniel, Bishop of Maadi and Secretary of the Holy Synod, and\u00a0Fr. Angelos Isaac, secretary of His Holiness, engineers who made the renovations, as well as the first graduations batch of the College.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Alexandria is witnessing two special events: His Holiness inaugurating\u00a0 the Patriarchal\u00a0Diwan and\u00a0Seminary college and the centenary of the Sunday Schools, which will be held at the Grand Conference Hall of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and will be attended by His Holiness Pope and a number of church Pontiffs.<\/span>
