\nSaint Paul the Apostle is Saul of Tarsus, born in Tarsus, the Capital of Cilicia State, of Jewish parents, descending from the Tribe of Benjamin. He bore a Hebrew name \u201cSaul\u201d and another Roman one \u201cPaul\u201d.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nSaint Paul the Apostle was raised according to the Pharisee doctrine (Acts 22: 3) \u201cbrought up at the feet of Gamaliel\u201d who was considered one of the greatest Jewish teachers at that time. Saint Paul was of a wide culture and great proficiency of Greek culture, he mastered the Greek, Classical Hebrew, and Aramaic languages. Besides, he acquainted himself with some Heathenism literatures, its philosophers and poets\u2019 quotes and cited them.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nSaul was one of the toughest persecutors of the church until his belief in Christianity when Lord Christ manifested to him on his way to Damascus for embarking on more persecutions! He was transferred from being Saul the Persecutor to Paul the Preacher of Christianity. Saint Paul the Apostle spent three years in the Arab region where he learnt the faith facts via divine revelations: \u201cBut I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ\u201d (Galatians 1: 11-12)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
\nIn this book: \u201cThe Theological Thought of Paul the Apostle \u2013 Part 2\u201d, Prof. Dr. Maurice Tawadros presents some of these concepts which are related to the Trinity, the Holy Spirit and the Spiritual Illumination, besides other concepts. We are pleased to present this book for the benefit of many.
