Dr. Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzouk, Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House, praised the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Immigration to effectively communicate with Egyptians abroad and to link them with the Egyptian events, stressing that the “Egyptian Family House” will contribute to enhancing this link.

Dr. Zaqzouq explained that since the foundation of the Egyptian Family House, it has played an important role in strengthening the national unity and thwarting many strife plots and civil strives, as well as its efforts to spread the spirit of tolerance, friendliness and coexistence among the Egyptian people.

The Egyptian Family House was founded in 2011 under the leadership of Sheikh Al-Azhar and HH Pope Tawadros II. Its headquarter is located in Al-Azhar Sheikhdom in Cairo. The Family house consists of a number of Muslim clerks, Coptic church members, representatives of Christian communities in Egypt and a number of intellectuals and experts.
