As well as\u00a0engaging them in\u00a0social and recreation activities,\u00a0and\u00a0prepare them to be enrolled in universities, which is a\u00a0\u00a0very important\u00a0stride and considered a precedent in Egypt\u00a0and promotes education\u00a0right.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">The Center also sought to\u00a0enroll 128 students in the different departments of Ain Shams University and Cairo University.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">Egyptian Sign Language Training courses<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and Ain Shams University signed\u00a0a\u00a0protocol of cooperation in several fields concerning the deaf and hearing impaired, including holding\u00a0 several training courses for the first time in Egypt to teach hearing people the sign language to\u00a0qualify\u00a0them to communicate with deaf and hard of hearing in Egyptian universities and other institutions. <\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">The Courses had\u00a0been\u00a0attended by more than 100 people.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'andale mono', times;\">The Center also provides job opportunities for\u00a0skilled\u00a0trainees as sign language interpreters at Egyptian universities.
