Al-Senari House in Sayyida Zeinab witnessed the meeting of the advisory committee of Treasures of the Coptic Heritage project, which was launched in late 2016 under the auspices of the Coptic Studies Center of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The meeting was attended by HG Bishop Makkar, Bishop of Sharkia and Tenth of Ramadan, Dr. Bassilios Subhi, Vice Dean of the Cairo Seminary, Dr. Ezzat Salib, Director General of the Restoration of Greater Cairo Museum, Presidential Palace and Training, and Mr. Atef Awad, Coptic Architecture Teacher at the Institute of Coptic Studies, And Dr. Louay Mahmoud Said, Director of the Coptic Studies Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The project aims at shedding light on the most important works and manuscripts in various Coptic branches and republishing some of the valuable works that speak about the Coptic heritage in all its sciences, whose printing editions have become extinct or rare or only available in the libraries and researchers find it very difficult to reach them.
