Tourism is one of the most important economic resources upon which countries rely; it plays a great role in the economic prosperity of the countries. God has granted Egypt a distinct location, a wonderful climate throughout the year attracts the tourists, a civilization which amazes the whole world, however, it still embraces several secrets. Undoubtedly, we have a role to play in activating the tourism in the country and attracting the tourists through arduous work and using the latest touristic attraction means.
We introduce this valuable research which is considered a part of the research project conducted by Prof. Dr. Adly Anis Soliman, the Professor of Economic Geography and Planning at Cairo University, titled: “The Movement of the European Tourism to Egypt”. He won the Best Research in Social Sciences Award for 2013 – 2014 from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University.
In an accurate scientific approach, the research tackled several topics related to the Russian tourism and Egypt’s portion in it; accompanied by giving important recommendations that would help in activating the Russian tourism in Egypt.
We express this great effort exerted by Prof. Dr. Adly Anis, wishing all who read it to get benefits of it, and we identify the viewpoint of Russian tourists in order to attract more of them towards our beloved Egypt.
