A state of dissatisfaction with the actions of the police force responsible for securing the entrance of the monastery of St. Samuel, the confessor in Minya, after they prevented visitors from entering the monastery, and also prevented workers from entering to work inside the monastery and the absence of security at the monastery check .
A Coptic source said police prevented the workers on Friday and Saturday and allowed them to enter on Sunday after contacts between monks of the monastery and Police director of Minya, who asked them to bear this period due to the threats and security conditions in the country.
Trips by residents or families went to visit the monastery of St. Samuel were blocked at the entrance of the pile of the road.
The source added that preventing the entry of workers is incomprehensible because they have work at the monastery and cause damage to the monastery, especially that there are products needed by the monastery and also workers their livelihood and work is inside the monastery.
It is note worthy that securing the check is given to the police, especially since there was an agreement after the bus attack which is not applied that an armored vehicle will accompany trips or visitors every hour from the beginning of the western road to the monastery.
