Today HG Metropolitan Anthony Metropolitan of Jerusalem inaugurates “Jerusalem Association” Church with Chrism oil

Today at AlDaher HG Metropolitan Antonios “Anthony” new Metropolitan of Jerusalem inaugurates “Jerusalem Association” Church with Chrism oil and head the Divine Liturgy prayers with the participation of HG Bishop Justus bishop and Abbot of St. Anthony monastery in the Red Sea and monks of Jerusalem diocese, and in the presence of large number of  worshipers.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria and the see of St. Mark chose Father Theodore Antony to be Metropolitan of Jerusalem, and gave him the name of Antonios “Anthony”  at eve prayers last Saturday.  HG Metropolitan Antonios “Anthony” served in the monastic life for ten years, including eight years at the monastery and two years in Greece, where he is studying for a PhD in theology. HG Metropolitan Antonios “Anthony” was ordained Metropolitan of Jerusalem after the departure of late Bishop Abraham, last November.
