“Legal awareness for the Development of National Awareness” Forum kicked off on Sunday, 15 April 2018, at the Supreme Council of Culture, and was attended by a group of intellectuals, jurists, parliamentarians, officials, public figures and youth including Dr. Hatim Rabie, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Culture, Dr. Khaled Al-Qadi, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Orabi, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of the House of Representatives, Counselor Nayer Othman, former Minister of Justice, HG Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Kilani, Head of the Office of Government Mosques in the Ministry of Awqaf.
His Grace Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, said that confronting radical thoughts need that everyone unite and agree on a clear plan to correct the misconceptions of many whether members of terrorist and radical groups or others, pointing out that law and the Constitution is crucially needed at this time.
His Grace explained during his participation at “Legal awareness for the Development of National Awareness” Forum held at the Supreme Council of Culture on Sunday, April 15, 2018, that the constitution is the document that defines the relation between the ruler and the governed and clarifies the form and system of the state and the government and Constitutional and legal awareness is a complementary work, as law illiteracy causes unrest and trouble.
Anba Ermia stressed that we need to outspread legal awareness between youth circles to instill positive thoughts, and we need to focus on common human values and promote the concept of one united nation, explaining that any opposition or contradiction in this nation will push us to the abyss, stressing that we are all Egyptians even if we have different believes and thoughts.
The “Legal awareness for the Development of National Awareness” Forum, is held from Sunday, April 15, 2018, for two days, and include a number of important seminars attended by senior intellectuals and public figures.
