The second phase of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II project “the heritage of our church .. spirit and life” launched from Mari Youssef Church in Old Cairo area under the auspices of HG Bishop Julius general bishop of Old Cairo Churches Manial, Fom El-Khalij and services Diocese. The Second phase of the training started with a lecture delivered by Rev. Boulos Halim, Church spokesman about “Observation of Reality”, followed by first project workshop about the “Bible” attended by 150 servant.
The first phase of the project, which is embraced by the Pope, had begun on September 23 and ended on October 4 during which 1,000 of priests and servants from dioceses in Egypt were trained on using canon Education sources in the pastoral work including (Bible, liturgy, fathers sayings, the history of the church, the Coptic identity).
Old Cairo Region participated in the first phase of the project in Group D in the period from October 8 to 11 at Mary Land house in El-Shorouk.
