Islamic, Christian, party and parliament leaders called on Monday, March 12, the Egyptian people to participate with large numbers in the upcoming presidential elections and to go to the ballot boxes to choose the candidate they see fit and which supports their choices and fulfills their hopes and aspirations and not to pay attention to the veiled boycotts calls by the Muslim Brotherhood and the suspicious entities.
They stressed that participating in the upcoming presidential elections is a national duty especially in light of the exceptional circumstances in which the country is going through. It requires unity and queuing, to support the democratic path and the Egyptian state in its fight against black terrorism and its efforts to achieve comprehensive development in the country.
This came at a seminar entitled “Together to elect a president and face the conspiracies” on Monday at the headquarters of the Middle East News Agency, which was moderated by Mr. Ali Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief of the news agency
The seminar was attended by Sheikh Gaber Tayea, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf, Head of the Religious Sector, representing the Minister of Awqaf, HG Bishop Ermia General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, Dr. Salah Hasballa, Spokesman of the House of Representatives and Support Egypt coalition and president of Freedom ” Horreya” Party, Ihab Tamawi member of Political Bureau of Free Egyptians “elMasryeen alAhrar” party and member of the House of Representatives, and Eng. Yasser Qora, Assistant to the President of al Wafd Party for parliamentary and political affairs.
