Aswan is witnessing a humanitarian disaster, as Christian cemetery is soaked in sewage after waterfall lift station stop working; because of a sudden failure.
One of the residents of the area confirmed that the cemetery has been soaked in sewage for more than 30 days, and no one acts from officials, despite the submission of a number of complaints.
It is noteworthy that the cemetery is the second in the city of Aswan, the first next to the commercial secondary school, and the second Orthodox Christians in the waterfall, which was flooded with sewage, and includes hundreds of graves, because it serves about 13 areas, including the waterfall, the Sahara, the High Dam, East, Karkur, Izbet al-Askar, Ezbet Shenouda, Dabudiya and the lake. It also includes the graves of 10 Italians who died during the construction of the High Dam.
