The conclusion of “Renew our days as of old” conference, and the start of the second conference of training 1000 ecclesial teacher project of HH Pope Tawadros II

Today the first conference of training “1000 ecclesial teacher” is concluded and nearly two hundred priests and leaders representing 11 Diocese participated in the conference. At the same time the second conference began in the presence of 18 Diocese.
HH Pope Tawadros II will hold today a joint meeting of the first and second conferences participants in the Theater of Saint-Royce in St. Mark Cathedral in Abbasia.
The meeting with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II comes within the framework of his support for the training project, as his holiness chose the slogan : “Renew our days as of old” for the conference. The training project seeks to spread ecclesial spirit within the church education more deeply, for that they train the participants – throughout the training period (four days for each group) – on the use of ecclesial teaching sources skills including the Bible and the liturgy, the writings of the Fathers, ecclesiastical history and Coptic identity.
