«St. Bishoy monastery»,in Wadi Natrun, issued a statement denying what was published in a number of websites, of accusations to monastery monks, the statement mentioned: «some websites published unacceptable misinformed and excesses about the monastery and about Father Gabriel Bishoy ».
The statement added: «the monastery appeals to refer first to the monastery and be accurate before publishing any incorrect information».
It is noteworthy that one of the websites published a report containing accusations of financial irregularities against the monk, and charges of raising money and distributing it to his relatives.
