Over the past three days, CACYB has held its first festival at the Bishopric Church in Pennsylvania (Bethany).
The theme of the festival, “Out of Egypt I Called My Son”, aims to introduce the nature of the Coptic Church, its history, its saints and its culture to the American society.
The theme of the Holy Family’s journey to Egypt was also presented through presentations by the servants, young people and children who dressed in Pharaonic and Coptic ancient and modern costumes with some figures of some places visited by the Holy Family. As well as statues of the pyramids and some of the kings of the Pharaohs.
The show included some Egyptian meals and souvenirs.
