“Father Theodore Antony Jerusalem chair candidate promoted to “Qomosiah

On Sunday morning, St. Anthony monastery in the Red Sea monk Rev. Theodore Antony candidate for the chair of Jerusalem was promoted to “Qamsiyah” rank, Pastor Salib and Pastor Abeskhairon were also promoted.A group of bishops of the Holy Synod held the mass prayers including  Bishop Justus, Bishop and abbot of St. Anthony monastery, Bishop Isaiah Bishop of Tahta  and Bishop Daniel Bishop and Abbot of Saint Paul monastery.

HH Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the see of Saint Mark chose father Theodore Antoni to be bishop of Jerusalem and the Holy of Jerusalem will ordain him next Sunday.
