H.H. Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the see of St. Mark came back to Cairo on Sunday evening after an 11-day visit during which he underwent medical examinations and inaugurated a number of churches.
During his visit to Germany, His Holiness the Pope inaugurated a number of churches and visited a number of Coptic Christian churches in Germany. Among the churches he visited, the Coptic Church in Dusseldorf, North Rhine. He visited the Coptic Monastery there and met with the priests of the Egyptian churches of the Diocese headed by Bishop Damian and Bishop Michael.
His Holiness also met with German public and political figures. The Pope also delivered the speech of the Coptic Orthodox Church at the meetings of the Patriarchs of the Middle East Churches in Germany, which was hosted by the German Church and entitled “Christianity in the Middle East: Challenges and the Future”.
