HG Bishop Theodosius, Bishop of Giza, said that supporting the culture of tolerance, acceptance of others and non-violence is a demand for all peace-loving people and it is a historic day to unite in order to renounce violence and extremism and work to create a bright future for all the world.
He added in his speech at the Arab League in “Youth strategy to counter violence, extremism and terrorism” conference, everyone is seeking to support the co-existence and culture of peace, love and discipline among everyone and interdependence to make future in which the Arab nation be the strongest in making new culture that accepts diversity, pluralism, and support the values of tolerance.
He stressed that the religious institutions should work on supporting the values of acceptance of others and teach it’s leadership to carry messages of peace and acceptance of others, and we should create legislation that promote equality, citizenship and justice and give opportunities for young people in decision-making and discover multiple talents, and organize disclosure and transparency meetings between the society segments and to provide protection to citizens and support cultural awareness and pluralism in order to combat terrorism, extremism and create a healthy environment to renounce violence.
