His Holiness Pope Tawadros, Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, addressed some words to the families of Copts martyrs in Libya on the occasion of the arrival of their bodies on Monday to Egypt.
His Holiness words were posted on the page of the official spokesman of the Orthodox Church, saying: “These families who offered their children for the country and christian faith are blessed because they have children who have made history and became saints.”
“They are the martyrs of faith who have come under great pressure to leave their faith but they have remained steadfast,” said the Pope.
