HH Pope Tawadros II, said that he has a report about assault in “individual” incident on 37 church in Egypt in three years that he will submit to the House of Representatives.
His Holiness stressed, during his meeting with members of the Religious Committee of parliament, that he is counting on this visit, the House of Representatives, and Dr. Ali Abdel Aal President of the Council, to stop the attack on the church, pointing out that attacks on churches in Egypt are at a rate of one attack per month.
His Holiness added that they can not deal with Christians as a minority in Egypt, pointing out that there are people who want to distort the unique image in Egypt.
