HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, lead on Wednesday at al-Boutrossita church, the funeral service of Triple Beatified Anba Fam, Bishop of Tema and affiliated areas, and Abbott of St. Yassa Mikhail Monastery in Sohag, the funeral was attended by a number of bishops of the Coptic church.
Anba Fam body, will be transferred to Cathedral of St. Abu Fam in Tama to provide a chance for his children to take a last farewell look at him.
The governor of Sohag, Dr. Ayman Abdel Moneim, had decided to give Copts of Tema, a day off on Thursday, so that they could take a last farewell look at their beloved Bishop.
The body of the late Bishop arrived on Tuesday evening from London. On Sunday evening, Anba Fam passed away in London at the age of 73.
