HH Pope Tawadros II hold Palm Sunday Mass in the new cathedral in Anba Bishoy monastery in Wadi Natrun in the presence of a huge number of worshipers.
His Holiness delivered a sermon at the Mass, and spoke about the spiritual meanings of Palm Sunday , where the Pope explained that the palm or palm branches or olive branches has spiritual meaning in the church, palm refers to victory and Coronet which God grants to victorious worshipers, and olive branches refers to the peace and holiness, when Noah sent a dove out of the ark, when she returned she was carrying an olives green branch in her mouth , in reference to the peace fall on Earth.
Mentioning that the Coptic church in going to celebrate resurrection feast next Sunday after the conclusion of the Holy week which began yesterday.
