HH Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria and the Patrirch of the see of St. Mark expressed his sincere condolences to the people and the Government of Belgium for the victims of the terrorist attacks in the capital Brussels Airport , which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
This came during a telegram sent by His Holiness to the King Philippe of Belgium, expressing his solidarity with the families of the victims, praying that God surrounds the dead with his mercy and gives their families patience and solace and quick recovery to the wounded.
He added that terrorist attacks that annihilate the lives of innocent people is a sin against God who gives life as a divine gift.
