The Orthodox Church, organized the First Conference of Northeast of the United States of America Priests, entitled “Challenges Facing the Priest in His Ministry” under the patronage of Bishop David Bishop of New York and Bishop Karas, Generel Bishop and Pope representative.
The conference began on Tuesday at the Pontifical Logus Center at the Monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadi El Natroun. H.H. Pope Twadros II opened the conference with a lecture titled “Coptic Orthodox Church Past, Present and Future”.
The conference will continue for three days with the presence of 40 priests and 3 Deacons, “assistant to the priests”.
The conference will be attended by a number of Metropolitans, bishops and priests.
