Father “Moises Baghdadi,” the priest of St. Mark Church in New Jersey, US said that a Museum of late Pope Shenouda III, is established in Cedar Grove district in New Jersey, that contain late Pope personal belongings.
He continued: “Pope Shenouda was frequently resorting at the papal headquarters in Cedar Grove during his pastoral or official visits and His Holiness was very eager to receive his people, and in one of his visits ten thousand Copts came to him to welcome him.”
Father “Moises” noted that the museum contains the most famous sermon of Pope Shenouda entitled “Dialogue with God”, handwritten papers, uniform he wore as well as the state of New Jersey key, which was granted to him by the mayor of the state.
He added: “The Pope Shenouda known for his high sense of humor, so he said to the mayor in this day (Now I can come at any time, open and enter).”
The museum also includes a cross that was used by Pope Shenouda, as well as the postage stamp issued by the Egyptian post office after the pope’s departure in 2012.
He continued: “There is also in the museum the honorary doctorates earned by Pope Shenouda and photos with public figures.”
He added that the pope insisted that the baptism is compatible for adults and children as he predicted the accession of a number of Americans to the Coptic Church.
