The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center in cooperation with Pope Shenouda III Center for Church history invites you to attend the first seminar of the Church History “the Council of Nicaea”.
It includes the following lectures:
– Creed in the thought of St. Athanasius the Apostolic – HG Anba Rafael
– Liturgy and how it maintained the faith in the fourth century – HG Anba Makari
– The trouble that followed St. Athanasius after the Council of Nicaea – HG Anba Angelos
– History of the Nicene Creed (faith of the church) with an explanation of its meanings – Fr. Bishoy Helmi
– Levels of teaching of the Council of Nicaea for different stages – Fr. Youssef Samir
The Seminar begins with the Holy Mass at 7:00 am at the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, at the Cathedral of St. Mark in Anba Ruiss in Abbassia on Saturday 26 August 2017.
