The governor of Sohag Dr. Ayman Abdel-Moneim, accompanied by a number of the governorate leaders, visited on Monday, July 17, 2017, the monastery of St. Shenouda, the Archimandrite in Sohag.
The delegation included Major General Hisham Lutfi, Assistant Minister for Central Upper Egypt, Maj. Mustapha Moqbel, Director of Sohag Police, Major Sharif Saifuddin, Commander of the Southern Military Region, and Brigadier Ashraf Abu Al Makarem, Director of the National Security Directorate in Sohag.
They were welcomed by His Grance Anba Aologius, Bishop and Abbot of the monastery.
