On Saturday, Morning, March 5, 2016, At Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate, HG Metropolitan Anthonios Enthronement as Jerusalem and the Near East Metropolitan ceremony mass prayers began in the presence of large number of worshipers and All Christian denominations.
Celebrations have begun at Church of the Resurrection yard, in the presence of priests and representatives of the Orthodox churches Greeks, Assyrians, Armenians, and the priests of the Coptic Orthodox Church, and Copts Cult selected Mr. Salim Mnarios, and lay leaders, including George Habash, and Yacoub Habash, and a large number of parishioners, and multitudes of Muslims and Christians.
It is noteworthy that HH Pope Tawadros II sent Church delegation of bishops to ordain HG Bishop Anthonios including His Excellencies Metropolitan Serapion, Metropolitan of Los Angeles, Metropolitan Athanasius Metropolitan of the Coptic French, Metropolitan Benyamin Metropolitan of Monoufia, Metropolitan Pfnotios Metropolitan of Samalout, Metropolitan Tadros Metropolitan of Port Said, HG Metropolitan Kyrollos Pontifical MP in Europe, as well as Bishop Justus, head of St. Anthony monastery.
