Today we are celebrating the feast of Nativity that we are celebrating today. I wish this year would be good and peaceful to Egypt, the Middle East and the whole world.
Reflecting on the simplicity and humbleness of Jesus Birth, we would realize that that God appreciates modesty and honesty of man. With a closer look at the Nativity story, we can see that all the people who were invited to see Baby Jesus were those who are the lowly of heart yet the greatest before God. While the shepherds were guarding their flocks at Bethlehem, an angel of God appeared to them to bring the good tidings of Jesus Birth and guide them to His whereabouts. Luke 2:10-12 “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger. The humble-hearted who work honestly are always invited to see the Child in manger, while all the haughty people like Herod the king, the chief priests or the Jewishscribes were not able to witness that miraculous Birth.
