We would like to congratulate my Muslim Brethrens in Egypt, Middle East and the world on Sacrifice Feast, praying to God to keep Egypt safe and let joy prevail over it.
In the last article I discussed the topic of Balance which is a secret to success and I explained its meaning and its definitions as it may be a synonym to moderation that helps man to overcome his problems flexibly without exaggeration and it helps people to avoid the random changes of feelings, principles and opinions. Some say it is a condition that helps a person to have a sound opinion and behavior with no exaggeration whatsoever.
The word balance may bring to your mind the image of you or someone else when trying to step carefully over a wooden board or a stone maintaining your balance lest you fall. It may also remind you of a circus performer trying to walk on a very thin rope without falling which needs a remarkable skill. Thus, balance is needed in life whether you choose it or you had to keep it due to life’s duties that require you to pass on the thin rope and not to fall or make terrible mistakes.
Keep your different aspects of life in balance to enjoy a positive life. For instance, you should keep your personal balance taking care of your body, self and soul in a balanced way, not getting enough physical rest will affect your mind and body decreasing your concentration, not keeping balance between your emotions and your mind will make you unstable. Should you balance your roles in life, you won’t feel disappointed as you give enough time for doing each role. If a person gives much attention to work at the expense of his family time or his personal life, he will be desperate for not fulfilling his duties as a family member. Man also should be moderate while dealing with others trying not to wrong any person. For leaders, balance is critical. Thus, managing your life in balanced way will help you to be one step ahead to happiness and success. Most importantly, you will be content and have a clear conscience for fulfilling your duties toward yourself and others too.
