Queen Elizabeth received HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark at the Royal Palace in London.
“For the first time, a historic meeting,” the British ambassador to Cairo, John Cassen, posted a picture of the meeting between the pope and the queen on his official Twitter account.
