The Board of Directors of the Ministry of Antiquities agreed to accept the donation of about 200 artifacts from St. George church in Old Cairo, which is due to be transferred Tuesday to the Coptic Museum.
These pieces were discovered in a tunnel under the church and the church was supposed to register them, but preferred to give them to the Ministry of Antiquities, which in turn will examines, registers and restore these pieces.
